Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was sent off during the club's Champions League defeat to PSG on Tuesday evening.

The France international, apparently in an attempt to shield the ball, stamped on Dani Alves and was shown a second yellow card, despite himself appealing for a foul.

Pogba will subsequently be ruled out of the second leg at Parc des Princes, as United attempt to overhaul a 2-0 aggregate deficit away from home.

The tackle drew attention as Pogba committed a similar foul on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli at Wembley in January.

United won that game 1-0 and referee Mike Dean only gave the Frenchman a yellow card. Pogba then kicked the ball away but received no further punishment by the official, to the bemusement of Spurs fans.

And Tottenham fans have insisted that Pogba should also have been sent off during their clash at Wembley after seeing United reduced to 10 men at Old Trafford. Here's a look at what they've been saying on Twitter...
