Sky Sports claim Tottenham are chasing Hoffenheim ace Florian Grillitsch, so should the Lilywhites sign the tough-tackling midfielder?

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham have sent scouts to watch the Austrian international at both club and international level, and they were clearly impressed.

The North Londoners are keen on a deal according to the report, and the player has a release clause of just over £18m.
The report claims the club are also keeping an eye on Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria, as they search for a successor for the departing Mousa Dembele.
Grillitsch plays mostly as a defensive midfielder, and has impressed in both the Bundesliga and Champions League this season, averaging 2.3 tackles, two interceptions and one key pass per game.
The young midfielder may not be particularly well-known, but his mixture of defensive solidity and progressive passing makes him the perfect Dembele replacement.
Spending around £18m on a player the majority of fans haven’t even heard of would be quite something, but should they pull the trigger? Spurs fans, let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
