The Netherlands international has been exiled from the first-team squad in North London, playing for the club’s Under-23 side thus far this season.
Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that he has no room for Janssen in his squad, telling reporters, as quoted by the aforementioned ESPN FC article, that “he is not in my plans”.

Signed for £17million from AZ Alkmaar, the striker has found it difficult to adapt to life in England, scoring just six goals across 39 games for the club.
