Tottenham fans react to reported Janssen asking price

Tottenham Hotspur are willing to sell Vincent Janssen for £15million in January according to ESPN FC, – although The Telegraph claim he could be sold for as little as £12m.

The Netherlands international has been exiled from the first-team squad in North London, playing for the club’s Under-23 side thus far this season.

Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that he has no room for Janssen in his squad, telling reporters, as quoted by the aforementioned ESPN FC article, that “he is not in my plans”.

CheekySport’s Joel claims Spurs badly need to invest in January after not having “the balls” to beat Arsenal. Check out his uncensored opinion in the video below…

Signed for £17million from AZ Alkmaar, the striker has found it difficult to adapt to life in England, scoring just six goals across 39 games for the club.

Janssen was previously prolific in his home country of the Netherlands, scoring 32 goals in 49 games for AZ and 32 in 74 for Almere City FC.

A loan spell at Fenerbahce last season did not work out though, and Spurs fans insist that they have little chance of receiving the money that chairman Daniel Levy is seeking for the forward.

Here’s a look at how Tottenham fans reacted to the report from ESPN FC
