Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from The Sun linking the club to the signing of Declan Rice from London rivals West Ham, with Spurs looking to take advantage of the Irishman's contract situation at the London Stadium.

The 19-year-old has quickly become one of the first names on the Hammers' teamsheet under Manuel Pellegrini since graduating from the academy in the last couple of years.

However, the player and the club have come to a standstill over contract talks. Rice currently earns around £3k-a-week at the London Stadium, and has reportedly rejected fresh terms of around £15k-a-week as he feels he is worth more to the team.
