Tottenham supporters react with disinterest following the club’s announcement that budding striker Ryan Loft has joined Exeter City on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old has failed to make a single first-team appearance for Tottenham Hotspur, and his only professional appearances came on loan at Stevenage where he was unable to find the back of the net in nine games during the 2016-17 season.

Loft has since joined Exeter City for the remainder of the season, where Spurs will hope that the striker can begin to develop a period of good form. During his time with Tottenham’s U18 team, the forward scored an impressive 13 goals in 22 games, an average of more than a goal every two games. He even scored against Liverpool and Reading when featuring for Spurs’ U23 team.
