Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that the north London derby on March 2 will take place at Wembley.
New Stadium Update – Arsenal fixture.

The club have yet to carry out the necessary fire detection and alarm system testing to obtain a safety certificate at their new stadium, which continues to be under construction.
And they have subsequently announced that the derby encounter will be played at the national stadium instead of the new White Hart Lane. Spurs have been playing all home games at Wembley since the beginning of last season.
Nevertheless, the London Evening Standard report that the stadium could be opened in March, despite numerous delays.

The report claims that the north London outfit have instead turned their attention to the game against Crystal Palace, which takes place on March 17, as a potential curtain-raiser.
Many Spurs fans have expressed their disappointment at the latest news update, although many have accepted the update with a degree of inevitability.

I mean we only intented to open the stadium against Liverpool, the other fixtures were just “possibilities”.
Of course we’re gonna be at Wembley till the end of the season

Look I love you Spurs but stop with the false hope updates just play all games at Wembley for rest of season and just ensure it’s ready for the next season!

All of our remaining "home" fixtures for this season, ending up at Wembley, wouldn't surprise me one bit. 🙈 All I fear is this rolling on into a 3rd season. 😱 Please @SpursOfficial just get it done by then. It's already embarassing enough! #COYS #THFC

Levy is incredibly fortunate we are having a decent season on the pitch otherwise we wouldn’t even be getting 20k at Wembley absolute farce 🙄
