The Champions League returns next month and all four Premier League sides involved in the competition will learn their group stage fate today.
Amongst those are Tottenham Hotspur, set for another year in Europe’s elite competition and hoping to enjoy a strong campaign in North London after struggling for consistency in the competition during recent years.
Spurs have been seeded in pot two for Thursday’s draw, potentially being handed tough games against the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Difficult ties could also emerge from big clubs in pots three and four, with Valencia, Hoffenheim, Monaco, Schalke, Lyon and Inter Milan standing out.
It is often a fine balance in the group stages of the competition as fans want to have the best possible chance of advancing to the latter stages but are often also keen on seeing their side go toe-to-toe with some of Europe’s finest clubs.
Ahead of the draw at 5pm BST today, we have assembled some reactions from Spurs fans as to who they want to be drawn alongside.
Barcelona for a trip to the camp nou and to watch Trippier pocket Messi, Ajax for the obvious spurs links and Young Boys for the throwback to our first ever qualification to the champions league

Dream @SpursOfficial #UCLdraw tomorrow and the reasoning behind my choices: Juve, for sweet, sweet revenge. Monaco, for over-due revenge. Galatasary, the temperature. #COYS #THFC

No one in pots 3/4 bother me. Moscow from pot 1 but I say bring anyone on. We dominated our group last year, no reason we can’t go one better and get max points this year! #COYS #THFC

Lokomotiv, Ajax and Athens on paper but Weirdly were less likely to Spurs it up if we get Real Madrid, Schalke and Inter.

Juve for revenge for last year and Ajax and inter because of their European pedigree
