[ad_pod ]Having looked set to leave the club all summer, Victor Wanyama's failure to seal a move away from Tottenham was no doubt surprising.The Kenya international struggled to force his way into Mauricio Pochettino's thinking last season, making just 22 appearances across all competitions.So when the Spurs boss brought the midfield powerhouse on against Leicester for the final 23 minutes of the game on Saturday afternoon, it certainly raised a few eyebrows.In his first competitive action of the season, the 28-year-old looked well short of the pace, making no tackles, interceptions or clearances in the middle of the park.Having also failed to sense danger for both of Leicester's goals, Spurs fans took to Twitter to reveal their anger at seeing him still play for the club.Many supporters of the north London side insisted Wanyama should be "nowhere near the first-team", with one fan in particular questioning why Pochettino would play him when reported suitors Club Brugge felt he isn't "good enough".Check out some of the reaction of Tottenham fans below:
