It seems that the Tottenham Hotspur fans rate Troy Parrott, just a little bit.
Parrott is just 16 years of age, and moved to Tottenham from Belvedere FC in 2017.
The forward has scored nine times and registered five assists in 15 appearances for Tottenham’s youth team this season, and his form has led to huge praise from the English club’s supporters.
Parrott’s latest goal came against Inter Milan in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday. Inter recorded a 4-2 win, but that did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm surrounding Parrott’s performance.
Indeed, once learning that the Irishman had scored another goal, the Tottenham fans were all over social media paying tribute to the forward.
Tottenham are not exactly blessed with options in the final third of the field at the moment, and Parrott could be set for a first-team spot in the next couple of years.
A selection of the Twitter reaction can be seen below:
No idea if he’s gonna make it at Spurs but Troy Parrott is gonna have a quality career imo. Finally smth for the Ireland fans to get excited about.
