Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho impressed on what was just his second cap for England as Gareth Southgate's men beat the USA 3-0 at Wembley on Thursday night, and Tottenham Hotspur fans have urged their club to sign the talented teenager.

The 18-year-old was named in the starting line-up for the Three Lions for the first time having made his debut as a 78th-minute substitute against Croatia last month, and as well as impressing with his link-up play with the likes of Dele Alli and Ben Chilwell, he also produced the assist for Trent Alexander-Arnold's goal.

The north London outfit reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign the wide man back in the summer of 2017, and it might be a decision that Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy are regretting now considering he has scored five goals and provided a further eight assists in 17 outings in total for Dortmund this term, as per Transfermarkt.

Should the youngster arrive at Spurs in the near future he would likely be competing with Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela and Son Heung-Min for a spot in the starting XI.

Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on Sancho's latest display via social media, and while one said "bin Lucas off and get him in", another said "I'd take him tomorrow at Spurs".
