Everton completed the signing of Watford winger Richarlison on Tuesday evening, and Tottenham Hotspur fans have urged their club to sign highly-rated Toffees attacker Ademola Lookman as a result.
The Merseyside outfit have paid an initial £35m fee for the 21-year-old Brazilian, which could rise to £50m in the future depending on certain add-ons, and it seems certain that he will start the 2018/19 season on the left wing.
It is a deal that is likely to push Lookman further down the pecking order after the England U21 international spent time on loan with RB Leipzig last term, where he showed his quality with five goals and four assists in 11 Bundesliga outings.
Tottenham supporters, some of whom have named four wingers they would prefer to sign instead of Wilfried Zaha, have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the 20-year-old, and while one said he would be “perfect for us”, another said they “would take him at Spurs if he’s surplus there now”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
If he’s available for around £20m just under would love us to sign Ademola Lookman. Exactly the right profile of signing for Spurs #COYS

We could buy Lookman. He’d fall into the reduced section now
