Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, and they’re convinced Mauricio Pochettino needs to give Harry Kane a rest.
The Champions League returns this week, and Tottenham fans are getting worried over the sluggish performances of their star men.
Dele Alli picked up an injury over the international break, and both Kane and Christian Eriksen were virtually non-existent during the defeat to Liverpool.
All three players took part in the World Cup, and Kane in particular looks in desperate need of a reset before the busy winter period begins.
The 25 year-old touched the ball just 22 times against Liverpool, and despite scoring twice in the league already this season has not been at his best.
Spurs travel to Inter Milan on Tuesday before a trip to Brighton next weekend, and there is a mid-week game in each of the next three weeks.

You know what, I’ll just say it. I doubt Poch will do it, but Kane needs a rest badly. He doesn’t have the same impact on games like he usually does. Rest him only for a couple of games. Go back to the team we played at Stamford Bridge last year.

son should start against Brighton instead of Kane.

We have Inter, Brighton, Watford and Huddersfield in the next two weeks. He can have a cameo against Inter, but he doesn’t need to play in the other three games.

Yup. We have some mid to lower table teams coming up. dont play him twice a week right now, assuming he’s still in for CL nights

Man if we signed Rondon we could have actually given kane rest this season

The fact we haven’t bought a back up to Kane has meant we have had to play him into the ground.
He’s tired, burnt out, slow to every ball, probably mentally fatigued but we simply haven’t got anyone to replace him.
Kane needs a proper rest, regardless of the games ahead.

Kane needs dropping!! Before you all start jumping on this I love the man!! But he needs a week or two!! Get training lads get organising without him and give the man a rest!! Then we want you back firing @HKane #yid #COYS

Kane needs a rest. Poch has to be strong. I wouldnt start him Tuesday or next Saturday. Send him away for a week or 2. Something has to give.

Simple fact is because Pochettino doesn’t have a back bone he hasn’t demanded funds and in turn has run Kane into the ground, poor man management, Kane will have a serious injury due to lack of rest and it’s all on Pochettinos head imo, fraud!
