Tottenham fans want Sterling to be handed first-team spot

Tottenham Hotspur fans want to see young forward Kazaiah Sterling handed the chance to play for the first team following his excellent solo goal for the club’s Under-23 outfit earlier this week.

Sterling, 20, was on the scoresheet against Wolfsburg on Monday, and many of the Tottenham supporters feel that the striker now deserves a spot in the first team.

Sterling made his first-team debut for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last December, appearing in a Champions League game against APOEL Nicoasia.

The former Leyton Orient youngster has not been seen in the first team since, but his excellent goal against Wolfsburg would have certainly captured the attention of Pochettino.

And it seems that Tottenham’s FA Cup third-round tie against either Tranmere Rovers or Southport in January could be the perfect opportunity for Sterling to be handed another opportunity to prove his worth.
