Troy Parrott just can’t stop scoring goals, and Tottenham fans want to see the teenager in the first team before too long.

Spurs are set to be without Harry Kane for the rest of the season after he suffered an ankle injury against Manchester City.

What is perhaps more worrying though, is the fact that these ankle injuries keep happening to the talisman, and it feels inevitable that he will miss at least part of every season with a similar problem, as he has for each of the last three campaigns.

With that in mind, fans are particularly intrigued by the incredible development of Parrott, for whom the academy and reserve leagues have become a walk in the park.

The 17 year-old scored both goals as Spurs’ Under-23 side beat Swansea 2-1 on Monday and fans are now all saying the same thing – give him a chance!

Parrott has 14 goals and five assists in 19 starts as a centre forward this season, and the Twitter reactions down below are desperate to see him in action…
