Aaron Lennon has returned to training and could face Wigan at the DW Stadium after shaking off his knee injury.
Lennon has not played for three weeks after piking up a knee injury in the Europa League clash with Basle but he has now returned to training, raising hopes that he will make his comeback at Wigan on Saturday.
The 26-year-old sat out last weekend’s 3-1 win over Manchester City after failing a fitness test, but he took part in training with the rest of the Tottenham squad on Wednesday and hopes are high that he will play against the Latics.
His return would be a big boost for Tottenham, who lacked width against City, and they cannot afford to drop points in the race for Champions League places.
