Tottenham Hotspur will be facing a different beast later today when they take on Arsenal in the North London derby at Wembley.

In the clash at the Emirates earlier this season, in which Spurs lost 2-0, they had Alexis Sanchez to cope with.

On this occasion, Mauricio Pochettino's men will be trying to keep Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at bay.

The Gabon international signed for Arsenal on transfer deadline day last month and he made an immediate impact by netting on his debut.

Aubameyang added to an impressive attacking performance as Arsene Wenger's men ran riot in a 5-1 thumping over Everton on home soil.

Tottenham and Arsenal's new forward are not complete strangers as Aubameyang has scored against the club twice before - both in last season's Europa League competition while playing for Dortmund.

Toby Alderweireld, who returned to action against Newport in midweek following three months out with a hamstring injury, admits that it will be difficult to stop Arsenal's new hitman.

According to the London Evening Standard, the centre-back said:

"He's very quick, he's a good finisher, he has it all. He is in a good moment now as well so it's going to be very difficult to beat him but I think we will be ready for it. You have to work your mind. One against one, on the same line, he will beat you, so you have to be very clever, you have to read the situation and try to beat him with your head."
