Tottenham Hotspur strengthened their grip on a top four finish in the English Premier League with a 2-1 win away to Stoke City on Saturday.
The win moves them 11 points clear of Chelsea in fifth, albeit having played a game more, and with just a handful of games remaining, it looks like UEFA Champions League football will be returning to the club next season.
Christian Eriksen was at the heart of the win, scoring a double to secure all three points despite the Potters’ equaliser.
Fans were pleased with the result and general team performance but did have some reservations about some players’ displays, not least Serge Aurier.
The Ivory Coast international frustrated supporters with another wasteful 90 minutes in the final third, despite getting himself into good positions from right-back.
He’s had a difficult debut season since moving from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and fans are now wondering about the viability of his long-term selection in the position.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance…
Don’t like picking out negatives after a gritty performance but heart in mouth every time the ball is near Aurier & Dier is having a poor season. #coys

Don’t see what Serge Aurier offers us? Can’t cross, can’t tackle, can’t take a fucking throw in correctly. Ben Trippier is class. #COYS

Aurier is awful. Just putting it out there #COYS

Should of sent Aurier off. We're better off without him. #coys
