Tottenham Hotspur were staring at a shock defeat in the fourth round of the FA Cup earlier today when they took on League Two side Newport County.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men were strong favourites to secure a comfortable victory at Rodney Parade.
However, the South Wales team, who sit in the third tier of English football held their own and earned a replay at Wembley.
Newport took the lead through Padraig Amond in the 38th minute, and it was Harry Kane who equalised with eight minutes left on the clock.
Pochettino fielded a very strong team, and within the lineup was Moussa Sissoko, who has had his critics ever since moving to the North London club from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016.
The midfielder has started 12 Premier League games this season and has come off the bench in a further 11.
Against Newport, the 28-year-old failed to impress the overall fanbase, with many stunned that the Frenchman continues to get a game.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Sissoko has some dirt on Poch, no other reason he’s in this team. The only time he ever lifts his head up is to high 5 Aurier!! #THFC #COYS

Sissoko MUST go, he's shocking.
He shakes when he has the ball, over hits every pass, needs 4 touches to get the ball under control, has no vision.
What does he have on Poch???#COYS #THFC pic.twitter.com/BdwlibIvRO— Richard Prestidge (@PimlicoRich) January 27, 2018
So having paid particular note of the technical genius that is Sissoko I have concluded…he is holding Poch's children for ransom. #COYS #PrayForPoch #OnlyExplanation

Playing Sissoko is like playing with 10 men. I'm going to keep saying it until he stops playing for Spurs. It's unfathomable. #COYS pic.twitter.com/8shw4wpczU

Hate slagging players but big Vic was bloody awful today… and this faith that Poch has in Sissoko is getting boring as $hite now #COYS

I reckon Sissoko's got something on Levy, so Daniel forces Poch to play him every game…. #COYS #THFC
