The rivalry between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal is a fierce one, and there seems to have been a power shift over the last few seasons.
Spurs have always been in the Gunners’ shadow in the modern era, and they remain there with regards to trophies, but in the Premier League, Mauricio Pochettino’s team are rising.
The club are on course to finish above Arsenal in the standings for a second consecutive season.
At the moment, Tottenham occupy the final Champions League spot in the table and are 13 points above their North London rivals, who reside in sixth place.
In fact, Arsenal could end up being in a race for sixth place given that Burnley are lurking behind just two points adrift.
Tottenham require just three more points from their final five matches to ensure that they finish above their arch enemies.
Pochettino’s men, who were beaten 3-1 by Manchester City at the weekend, could potentially end the campaign as high as second as Manchester United are just four points above them.
What is clear, though, is that Tottenham fans are not concerning themselves with Arsenal’s position.
Honestly couldn’t care less about finishing above them we need to focus on getting above united and Liverpool , need to be thinking bigger than just finishing above that shambles of a club #COYS

No one cares about finishing above Arsenal tbh, we want to finish at the best level, not only above them. They are a shambles

It’s sad that you’ve even posted this. Any Spurs fan still concerning themselves with finishing above Arsenal is no better than Arsenal fans who spent a decade celebrating that one achievement over us. They’re small time now, we need to start looking ahead not back. Be better!

Who cares? The cup and finishing as high as we can on the table is what we should focus on. We need to defeat ManU and get that silverware

Not our goal, nor should be celebrated. They had years of success, want this Spurs team to try and emulate that (and more)!

That shouldn't be our goal
