This weekend, Tottenham Hotspur have an opportunity to rub salt into Manchester City’s wounds.
Pep Guardiola’s side will head to Wembley with a desperate need to bounce back following a miserable week.
The North-West outfit were roundly mocked by rival fans after they were beaten 5-1 on aggregate by Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
In between the two legs, City’s Premier League title win was put on hold as Manchester United defeated their neighbours 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
Tottenham need three wins from their final six games to secure a place in next season’s Champions League, and due to City’s recent results, they may feel confident of snatching all three points this weekend.
A separate storyline will accompany the match as Kyle Walker prepares to face is former club.
The right-back left Spurs to join City last summer, and he managed to get one over the North London outfit as Guardiola’s team earned a 4-1 victory on home soil in December.
Ahead of Saturday’s encounter, Tottenham fans discussed what kind of reception that Walker will receive at Wembley.
He’s like an Ex girlfriend he’s moved on and doing well but you still love him but are a bit jealous and would take him back in a heart beat.

Walker was respectful to us not celebrating when Man City won so hopefully he gets a decent reception

I've only ever bothered booing one ex player, and he's long retired. #judas

Don’t care he is just another player . He hasn’t been a legend for spurs or a idol . So no booing or clapping for me

Won’t be booing. He went about his move away professionally & we made a huge amount of money on him.

Nothing. No applause. No booing.
He made his choice.
