Tottenham Hotspur will face Manchester United in a mouth-watering FA Cup semi-final after the two sides progressed in the competition on Saturday and were drawn against each other on Sunday.
Spurs comfortably defeat Swansea City to book their place at Wembley while Manchester United produced a professional performance at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Given Mauricio Pochettino’s side have made the national stadium their home this season, they have something of an advantage in the semi-final, though will have to prepare in the ‘away’ dressing room after being drawn second.
The teams have already met twice this season with the Red Devils emerging as 1-0 winners at Old Trafford in October and Spurs beating their visitors 2-0 at Wembley in January.
Perhaps because of that victory in the most recent match, Spurs fans are confident of making it to the final, believing Man United will be worrying about the clash more than their team will be.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the draw…
So, it will be Manchester United vs Spurs at the semifinal FA Cup. Easy draw for us. Lets smash them, once again? #ToDareIsToDo #COYS #FACup pic.twitter.com/921Mt5b52N
