Lucas Moura has been linked to the Premier League for some time, mainly due to rumours of interest from Manchester United.

Now it has emerged that the Brazilian is attracting the attention of Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.

According to French publication L'Equipe, the North London outfit have opened talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible transfer.

The report claims that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is pushing for a loan deal, but the Ligue 1 giants are only interested in a permanent sale.

It has been suggested by the publication that Levy could make negotiations difficult, despite already having dealt with French outfit over the purchase of Serge Aurier in the summer.

Moura has had to play a bit-part role for PSG this season having been on the field for just 72 minutes across five substitute appearances in the league.

With the January transfer window in full swing, footballers' names are being bandied about in the gossip pages.

This rumour surrounding Moura has been welcomed by plenty of Tottenham fans due to the Brazilian's pace and creativity.

Some, though, are not quite convinced that a deal will go through.
