Tottenham Hotspur fans praise Paulo Gazzaniga on another solid performance against Huddersfield

Tottenham Hotspur fans seem to be liking stand-in goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga more and more after he kept a clean sheet in Spurs’ 2-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday.

Two goals by Harry Kane secured a third straight win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side following a shaky run of form.

The 26-year-old was brought into the starting XI after back-up keeper Michel Vorm picked up an injury in what was a difficult September for Spurs that saw captain Hugo Lloris injured and the side losing three consecutive matches in all competitions.

But since Gazzaniga replaced Vorm to become the third keeper to play for the north London outfit this term, Spurs have picked up wins at Brighton, Watford in the Carabao Cup and then at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.

The Argentinian also looks set to start in Wednesday’s massive Champions League encounter against Barcelona at Wembley with Lloris not yet fit.
