Tottenham Hotspur could receive a big boost heading into the return leg of their last-16 Champions League tie against Juventus.
Injury doubts are swirling around Gonzalo Higuain after he was forced off with an injury during a Serie A match on Sunday.
The Mirror claims that the Argentine could be a doubt for the match that will be held at Wembley on March 7.
Higuain began limping just three minutes into the fixture and was eventually forced off 13 minutes later after clutching his ankle.
If the forward is ruled out of the clash in just over two weeks’ time, it would provide a big boost for Tottenham.
The 30-year-old caused plenty of damage to the North London club in the first half of their initial meeting in Turin last week.
He scored twice inside the first 10 minutes, once from the penalty spot, but in the end Tottenham fought back to earn a 2-2 draw.
Due to the side’s comeback, fans were already fairly confident about progressing into the quarter-finals, but now news of Higuain’s injury blow has emerged, supporters are feeling even more optimistic.
