Interestingly enough, both midfielders are currently experiencing similar situations, albeit due to different circumstances. Eriksen's contract is due to expire in the summer and since his future hasn't been resolved just yet, his game time has somewhat decreased with just 959 minutes under his belt across 17 matches in all competitions.

Lo Celso, however, who's still a loanee from Real Betis, has seen less of the pitch due to injuries and being out of favour during this transition phase. But the fans were also right to conclude that Lo Celso is very much an unknown entity, simply because we still haven't seen enough of him. With just ten games under his belt ever since he arrived from La Liga, the young midfielder has hardly had a chance to prove himself.
