Danny Rose looks destined to leave Tottenham by 2021 at the latest.

After all, the 29-year-old left-back confirmed he would not be signing a new deal back in November, per Evening Standard.

And he reiterated his desire to see out his contract following Tottenham Hotspur's 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on the last matchday of the Champions League group stage.

He said, as per quotes by Mirror:

"I've never had a conversation with him and I don't see why I need to. As I said before, I'm here for the next 18 months so I don't see why I need to have a conversation with the manager."

His contract is due to run out in the summer of 2021 and he insists that there is nothing to discuss with Jose Mourinho on that front, an admission which suggests his mind is made up.

Of course, this is not really the mentality fans want to see at the club and they were quick to voice their opinions on Twitter, slating Rose for his latest admission.

And it seems that some of the fans would rather cut him loose and cancel his contract than wait for it to expire in about 18 months time.

Many also stated that he has regressed heavily in recent times and that he no longer has the quality to even play for Spurs.

Rose has accumulated 1169 minutes across all competitions, however, tallying two assists, both in the Champions League, in the process.

It remains to be seen what Mourinho has to say on this matter and how he reacts to his player's words.
