Jarrod Bowen is one of the players who has been absolutely tearing the Championship apart this season.

The 22-year-old Hull City star has already bagged a total of 17 goals and managed to assist further three in just 23 games played.

These numbers do indicate that he could be ready for a step-up in the not so distant future, if he continues this excellent trend moving forward.

Interestingly enough, a new report coming from The Northern Echo has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a bid with the club’s scouts having persuaded Jose Mourinho that Bowen is worth the trouble.

Upon seeing that update on their target, many Spurs fans were delighted with it, stating that the 22-year-old forward would indeed make for a good addition to their team.

And looking at the player's numbers throughout the 2019/20 campaign, he certainly looks prolific in front of goal and could also be a great rotational player until he's ready to hold down a starting berth.

Mourinho's produced some incredible footballing stars - how much do you know about them?

Some of the fans have already recognised this and they concluded Mourinho could very well use Bowen as a back-up for either Lucas Moura or even Harry Kane.

Seeing how he has played both as a centre-forward and as a wide man in the ongoing season, as per the games Transfermarkt have in their database, it seems like a viable claim.

One fan even stated that Bowen is already a better player than Eric Lamela too...
