Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have been the subject of numerous rumoured transfer battles so far this summer.

Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose come to mind, but now it appears that there is another one to add to the list.

Lyon midfielder Tanguy NDombele is believed to be a top target for the North London club.

However, according to Le10sport, United have also entered the race for the 21-year-old.

Lyon have suggested that the young midfielder could be on his way out of the club this summer, but it is unsure where he will end up.

Ndombele's spent last season on loan at Lyon from Amiens, where he is contracted until 2020.

During his temporary spell, the midfielder made 50 appearances in all competitions, scored one goal and registered eight assists.

Ndombele is yet to break into the senior France national team, but he has made eight appearances for the Under-21s.

At the moment, United's interest is just speculation, but it has sparked a reaction from Tottenham fans.
