Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking is already old news by this point.
The Argentine coach has finished his Tottenham Hotspur adventure and has now been replaced by none other than Jose Mourinho, the Special One.

And looking at their current situation, Spurs might well need something special to bring them back from the dead and the 14th place in the table they found themselves in.
But Pochettino was still a huge figure at the club, both for the fans and the players, current and former ones.
His greatest achievement was probably the fact that he’s taken the club to the Champions League final last season but unfortunately for them, Liverpool were better in the end.
And Ryan Mason, a former Spurs man who’s now retired at the age of 28 and currently has a coaching role at the north London outfit, has posted a brilliant message to Pochettino on Twitter.
Judging by many Spurs fans’ reactions, he still seems to be one of the fan favourites in London.
Some were simply impressed by his words while others wanted him back at the club and even in some sort of a managerial role.

Class is permanent. Well said Ryan.

You were instrumental in those early days Ryan. He loved you and I think he was a bit gutted when you were sold. Wish you were both still playing for/managing us – maybe you are in a different timeline!
