Jose Mourinho suffered his first defeat as the new Tottenham Hotspur manager and poetically enough, it was against his former side, Manchester United.

But what's more concerning is the fashion in which they lost. Even though the final scoreline stood at 2-1 and Spurs managed to level the game at one point in the match, it felt like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer outwitted the Special One.

The fans, however, ripped into one specific player and partly into Mourinho for bringing him off way too late. Moussa Sissoko seemed to have an off night at Old Trafford and he was subbed off just five minutes before the end of regular time. Many of their supporters felt like that was too little too late and that the sub should've been made ages ago.

But many of them were also in unison when it came to Sissoko's display and they were mostly saying similar thing: he should be nowhere near the squad and is a liability.

Interestingly enough, the 30-year-old did help the team out defensively, producing three tackles, second-most along with Jan Vertonghen and just behind Serge Aurier, one interception and one clearance. Offensively, he did offer two dribbles as well. Even though he was slammed on Twitter, he still did contribute to the team in some way.

It'll be interesting to see how Mourinho bounces back from this game and what changes he will implement going forward.
