Tottenham Hotspur are just three wins away from securing Champions League football for another year.

At the weekend, a 2-1 victory over Stoke City extended the club's unbeaten run in the Premier League to 14 matches.

As it stands, Mauricio Pochettino's men are fourth in the table, 10 points above fifth-placed Chelsea with six games left to play.

In the last two seasons, the North London outfit have launched genuine title bids, but fell short, finishing third and second respectively.

On this occasion, Tottenham's only hope of clinching silverware before moving into their new stadium in the summer is in the FA Cup.

The team will take on Manchester United in the semi-finals of the competition at Wembley, where home has been for a temporary basis for the campaign.

On Twitter, the club proudly boasted about the team's unbeaten run in the top flight.

In response, though, the club received messages from rivals fans, and some of their own, poking fun at Spurs for not winning a trophy since their 2007-08 League Cup triumph.
