Former Fulham striker Leroy Rosenior has claimed that rumours are going around suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur have already agreed to sign Ryan Sessegnon.

The 17-year-old has been quite the revelation at Craven Cottage having burst onto the scene last season.

In the 2016-17 campaign, the teenager scored five goals and created three assists in 26 Championship outings.

Sessegnon has improved even more this season by finding the back of the net 12 times and helping create a further four in 32 league outings.

Understandably, a number of the elite Premier League clubs have taken notice, with the rumour mill naturally linking the left-sided player with a move away from Fulham.

Rosenior believes that Tottenham have moved ahead of the pack to tie down the youngster's signature.

While speaking on an episode of the Totally Football Show, the former attacker said:

"I think that a deal has been done for Ryan as teams have been in for him. It's a Premier League side with strong rumours of Tottenham. I wouldn't be surprised if other sides have been in for him as well."

Tottenham have experience in transforming young players into first-team regulars.

Dele Alli is a prime example as he cemented a spot in Mauricio Pochettino's XI and became a fully-fledged England international.
