Tottenham Hotspur have been without Victor Wanyama since August due to a knee injury. The North London club tend to be vague when it comes to timelines of recovery, and this has been no different in the midfielder's case.Wanyama suffered the blow in a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Wembley and as a result has missed the majority of the season so far.In total, the 26-year-old has made just two Premier League appearances, but he has suggested on Twitter that he could be back on the pitch in the coming weeks.During Tottenham's 5-1 thumping of Stoke City on Saturday, a group of fans in Wanyama's homeland of Kenya unfurled a banner wishing the midfielder well in his recovery. The former Southampton player responded to the kind gesture on social media and provided a brief injury update.

Wanyama will hope to be in contention for selection around February and March when Spurs take on Juventus in the last-16 stage of the Champions League.
