Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be lining up a summer move for the midfield maestro labelled the ‘new Paul Pogba’, according to reports in The Metro.
The 18-year-old Bubacar Djalo is part of the Sporting Lisbon’s Under-19 squad but is out of contract at the end of the season.
The Mirror are reporting that Spurs would only have to pay ‘minimal compensation’ should they be successful in signing the talented Portuguese youngster – a small price to pay if Djalo turns out to be a player with even the fraction of Pogba’s talents.
Tottenham Hotspur’s move to sign the ‘new Paul Pogba’ would seem particularly shrewd seeing as seemingly every man and his dog are after the man himself.
Bubacar Djalo is eligible to play international football for either Portugal or Guinea-Bissau, but has yet to be capped for either at this early stage in his career.
