[ad_pod ]Football FanCast's News articles summarise the biggest stories in world football, based on information from other sources.BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein has performed a massive U-turn after reporting that Tottenham's bid to sign Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala is now off.

Ornstein tweeted earlier on transfer deadline day that a deal was very close, but he has since changed his mind stating that the Serie A giants don't want to sell the 25-year-old.

The news may come as a huge blow to the north London outfit, with a number of English-based sources including Ornstein seemingly confident that a move was going to happen for a player who has scored 78 goals for Juve, after they reportedly agreed a fee with the Turin-based team.

That said, Calcio Mercato did report on Thursday morning that there were some snags over personal terms, which perhaps may also have been an issue.

Now Tottenham have to go back to the drawing board if they want to bring in a similar player to the Argentina international before 5pm, although they are closing in on a deal to sign Real Betis' Giovani Lo Celso, as per BBC Sport.
