Tottenham Hotspur have held preliminary talks over a potential move for Barcelona striker Sandro Ramirez, as reported by Metro.
The 20-year-old has a release clause of just £8.8million and Metro claim he is considering a move away from the Nou Camp for more playing time, having made just 30 first team appearances since the beginning of last season.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is short of attacking options at White Hart Lane this season, with Harry Kane currently his only out-and-out striker available for selection.
And Metro claim Pochettino has been impressed with what he has seen of Ramirez and thinks he has the potential to be a great fit for his top-four chasing Spurs side.
However, Metro report that Barcelona want to include a buy-back clause in to the deal, which is something they have a reputation of doing with their departing youngsters.
But Tottenham are reportedly unwilling to accept such a demand.
Ramirez is valued at £3.5m by transfermarkt.co.uk.
