Tottenham Hotspur are plotting an audacious double swoop of high flying Leicester City duo N’Golo Kante and Jamie Vardy, according to the Daily Mirror.
While Vardy has been linked with a raft of top end Premier League clubs after his sensational form for parts of this season.
The England international famously netted in 11 consecutive league games earlier this season, breaking a record set by Ruud van Nistelrooy.
However, Neil Moxey in the Sunday People claims Foxes midfielder Kante remains of more interest to Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino.
The tenacious French midfielder arrived this summer for around £5.5m and has emerged as a key part of Claudio Ranieri’s side.
His intense work rate on and off the ball would seemingly make him a natural fit at White Hart Lane under the Argentine coach.
A January move may not be likely, give their proximity in the league standings, though an audacious summer move is reportedly under consideration.
