Tottenham should make a move for Wolves' precocious young talent Morgan Gibbs-White, who has caught the eye on more than one occasion already this season.

What's the word, then?

Well, it is no secret that Spurs have been in the market for a dynamic winger in recent years. They have targeted Crystal Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha on more than one occasion, with Mauricio Pochettino a known admirer of the Ivorian, although they have been priced out of a move.

Despite their good form, the north Londoners are surely still in the market for a player of Zaha's ilk to compete with the likes of Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura in the wide areas, and should be targeting a different type of winger to the aforementioned pair - one who is bullish and strong, but yet crisp and effective in his end product.

Daniel Levy and co made no new signings last summer, and will no doubt have seen the club's bank balance take a huge hit thanks to the construction of the new White Hart Lane, but there is one player that Spurs, especially with Pochettino in charge, cannot let slip through their fingers.

One of the best Premier League youngsters

Wolves' 18-year-old sensation Gibbs-White has been a revelation this season. He first appeared for the club as a 16-year-old back in January 2017 and has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Having been used sporadically in the Championship, Nuno has given him a real chance to make an indent on the Premier League, and the teenager has taken it with both hands.

Gibbs-White made his first top-flight start against Chelsea on Wednesday and got an assist for Raul Jimenez's equalising goal, helping his side go on to win the game 2-1.

His upper body strength on the ball whilst dribbling, as well as his ability to get his head up and make something significant happen, are key features of his game that will only get better, and while he usually plays through the middle his display against the Blues suggests he can feature effectively out wide as well.

If Pochettino gets his hands on him, however, those key features may get better much, much sooner...
