Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has sent out a warning to Leicester City following his side’s 4-0 win over Stoke City on Monday.
Spurs were trailing the league leaders by eight points prior to their clash against the Potters at the Britannia Stadium, but the victory, and impressive performance, has cut that lead down to just five.
England international duo Kane and Dele Alli grabbed a brace each in the fixture, setting up an interesting last four games of the campaign.
And Kane has admitted that due to the Foxes’ lead, all he and his team-mates can do is pile pressure on Claudio Ranieri’s men by continuing to win each game that comes.
“All we can do it keep doing what we’re doing and keep winning games like we did tonight,” he is quoted by talkSPORT.
“They’re in the driving seat, they’re five points clear, but like I said there are four games left and all we can do is go out there and put in performances like we did and win the games.”
The 22-year-old’s brace now pushes his tally this season to 24, making him the current top scorer in the Premier League so far, with Jamie Vardy on 22 and Sergio Aguero in third on 21.
