Tottenham Hotspur are enduring a mixed campaign this term under Mauricio Pochettino but there is reason to be optimistic for the Lilywhites, as they boast a heap of young talents within their ranks.
Whilst members of the first-team continue to flounder, promising youngsters behind the scenes are showing the sort of form that Pochettino cannot ignore for too much longer- with one of those excelling starlets being 16-year-old Samuel Shashoua.
Shashoua recently netted an excellent goal against Southampton’s U18 side, in a game where he scored a brace, with his stand-out effort displaying a sharp turn and an excellent strike against the Saints’ youth side.
A regular for England’s U18’s, Shashoua has also made the step-up to Spurs’ U23 side this season for a game against Chelsea and will be looking to make that a regular venture in the coming months, as he looks to push further towards the first-team.
