Champions League runners-up Tottenham Hotspur are currently preparing for the latest edition of the Premier League season in Shanghai, where they will face rivals Manchester United in the next round of the International Champions Cup on July 25th at the Hongkou Stadium.
Spurs may have seen off Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus side the other day – Harry Kane grabbing the winner with a halfway line howitzer – but that ‘test’ was nothing compared to the one faced by Erik Lamela, Dele Alli and last-minute hero Kane.
Lamela posted to his Instagram page: “First time to play 3 vs 100! With my teammates @dele and @harrykane. Who guesses the result?”

Spoiler alert: we can confirm that the horde of local school kids failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage.
Indeed, despite their opponents scoring two goals on the day, the Premier League stars came out on top 3-2, with a controversial Alli penalty apparently securing the win.
Won’t anybody think of the children?
