Spurs are already in advanced negotiations to sign Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Vlad Chiriches to add to the summer arrivals of Roberto Soldado, Etienne Capoue, Nacer Chadli and Paulinho.
But, manager Andre Villas-Boas is still keen to further reinforce with Gareth Bale set to complete his long awaited world-record switch to Real.
Coentrao has been on the Portuguese coach’s radar from much of the summer, after it emerged the left-back has little future at the Bernabeu.
Any deal for the 25-year-old would be separate to Bale’s move and would likely cost in the region of £17m.
Vadillo is also a target for AVB, who is a big fan of the teenager.
The 18-year-old is widely thought of as one of the finest emerging talents in La Liga, and was impressive for Betis last season.
The Spaniards are far from keen to sell, but a clause in his contract would see him available for around £17m.
Meanwhile, the Londoners are desperate to sell Emmanuel Adebayor, with Besiktas keen on the Togo front-man.
