Tottenham Hotspur are ready to raise £100million in revenue thanks to sponsorship deals at their new stadium, according to The Daily Mail.
The North London club are set to leave historic home White Hart Lane behind and hope to move into their new stadium for the start of the 2018-19 season.
This will allow Spurs to increase their capacity and build a fierce atmosphere for their home games, boosting the club’s coffers in the process.
Another benefit of the stadium move will be the increase in income that is available through sponsorship deals.
It could involve a sponsor claiming the naming rights to the stadium, similar to deals that Arsenal and Manchester City have completed while rehoming in recent years.
The Spurs fans will be sad to see White Hart Lane go and as such will hope the increased revenue will be plunged back into Mauricio Pochettino’s squad as a trade-off.
