Demoted into the crowded chaos of Saturday 3pm kick-offs, last years two Premier League title competitors face-off at White Hart Lane. With markedly different aims this season, this game carries an entirely different meaning in the light of the opening games of this season.
Spurs remain the only unbeaten side in the English top flight, while Leicester have currently won more games in the Champions League than in the competition they were victorious in last season. No one expected the Foxes to replicate their heroics of last season, but they are on the edge of peril at the moment.
Not often will the champions be considered such underdogs. This fate, however, is going to be the norm for Leicester this season. They shocked the sporting world last season, they have proven that the norm is nigh on irrelevant to them.
In that frame of mind, we don’t know what to expect from Leicester. They could be shoddy defensively, or they could produce a breath-taking attacking display.
