Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has delivered his latest set of Premier League predictions, and he believes Tottenham Hotspur's woes will continue against Watford on Saturday.

What did he say?

Well, Spurs come into the clash with the bottom-of-the-table Hornets on the back of heavy defeats against Bayern Munich and Brighton and Hove Albion prior to the international break, and they appear devoid of confidence right now.

It is something that clearly hasn't gone unnoticed by Nicholas, with the former Arsenal man predicting they will slip up on their own turf against Quique Sanchez Flores’ strugglers.

He wrote: 'Watford will be working away with Quique Sanchez Flores, despite some poor results since coming back to the club, with Tottenham coming back at sixes and sevens after the international break. They are all over the place.

'Christian Eriksen remains unhappy, Dele Alli did not receive an England call-up, with their unpredictable defence topping it off. More woes for Tottenham.'

Is he right?

Tottenham look to have the perfect fixture in their bid to get back to winning ways, but it's hard to deny that the performances against Bayern and Brighton previously weren't a huge cause for concern.

The north London outfit would have fancied their chances of bouncing back against the Seagulls following their Champions League humiliation, but instead they were completely passive at the Amex as they were beaten 3-0.

It isn't surprising that Nicholas is pessimistic of their chances of picking up all three points against Watford this weekend, although saying that they have won both of their previous top flight home matches against Crystal Palace and Southampton.

It is certainly going to be interesting to see how against a side that were beaten 8-0 away by Manchester City just last month.
