The Sun are reporting that despite Spurs’ interest in the Italian, Roma are keen to keep hold of their director general:
Pollata said: “As far as I’m concerned, Franco is staying.
“We still need to talk about it in detail but I like Franco.”
Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly keen on bringing a director of football to the club, with Baldini their top target. But it seems the Portuguese manager will not be working with the Italian next season:
“We have been outlining the route ahead for what we want to do in terms of the club structure.” said AVB.
“Hopefully there will be the arrival of somebody else in the structure for the recruitment side, a technical director.
“It is a position I am used to working with and ideally it is someone that will help us to move forward.”
