Tottenham Hotspur will look to bounce back from their first defeat under Jose Mourinho when they host Burnley in the capital on Saturday.

The Portuguese's run of three straight victories since taking over from Mauricio Pochettino came to an end with the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United, with the north London outfit slipping behind the Red Devils in the Premier League table, too.

It will be interesting to see if the loss – and keeping up their record of conceding two goals in every match Mourinho has been at the helm – prompts the former Chelsea manager to make some changes against Sean Dyche's Clarets.

Here is our predicted Spurs XI…

With little other choice, Paulo Gazzaniga keeps his spot between the sticks, with 75% of the defence that started at Old Trafford remaining the same – Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Serge Aurier all starting despite shaky displays at the 'Theatre of Dreams'.

Money talks: How much did Levy pay for each of these Spurs stars?

Jan Vertonghen played at left-back against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, but we expect Mourinho to restore Danny Rose to the XI as Tottenham look to go on the attack against a Burnley side who conceded four goals in midweek against Manchester City.

There is a significant change in midfield too, with both Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko dropping out and Eric Dier and Tanguy Ndombele coming in, with the former duo overrun and far from at their best in terms of protecting the defence against the Red Devils.

Ahead of them, Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and the brilliant in-form Dele Alli will start, but we think Mourinho could spring a bit of a surprise and bring Giovani Lo Celso in for Lucas Moura on the right.

The Argentine's minutes - 7 to be exact - under the Portuguese have been limited so far, but he may well have that quality needed on the ball to unlock what can be a solid travelling Burnley defence.
