Harry Redknapp has dismissed reports that Gareth Bale will be sold in the January window.
The Welsh full back has been linked with moves to AC Milan and Birmingham City in the past few weeks, having only featured in only two games this season, the most recent being a five minute cameo in the recent victory against Burnley.
However the Spurs boss confirmed that he has no intention of selling Bale, especially as he is set to lose both Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Sébastien Bassong to the African Cup of Nations in January:
Speaking after Spurs' 1-0 home defeat Redknapp said: "It is difficult for Gareth at the moment – he is not getting the games that he really needs. But I have not got any other cover on the left. Benoit is going away in January with Sébastien Bassong so we will need to hang on to Gareth."
