Twitter in dreamland as Chelsea’s World Cup winner gets back to supreme best

Much has been made of Cesc Fabregas’ form this season. The Chelsea midfielder is clearly a supremely talented football, though has often been accused of not being consistent enough.

While usually the 28-year old maestro starts the season well, he tends to fate out toward the end of a season and is often lambasted for it.

However, this season he appears to have managed to buck that trend. He’s not performed at all.

That was until his former club Arsenal, the team with which he made his name, hosted him and his teammates in the crunch tie this afternoon.

The World Cup winner has been at his supreme best during the opening half in Chelsea’s match with Arsenal.

He has been pulling the strings in midfield amid a chorus of boos from the home supporters, who once adored him so.

Fans on Twitter have been sent into dreamland as the former Barcelona ace shows glimpses of what made him a key part of the Catalan’s success while plying his trade in Spain.
