Premier League new boys Hull City have the pleasure of hosting the champions Leicester for the 2016/17 opener, and whilst the Tigers are a team in turmoil, the Foxes are looking for some new heroes, and one man is certainly making his case this afternoon.
One name which stood out on Claudio Ranieri’s team sheet was that of Demarai Gray, who started on the wing in place of last season’s regular starter, Marc Albrighton.
Fans and pundits alike have been tipping the former Birmingham man to have a big season as the boys from the King Power embark on their title defence.
In what was a fairly drab first half at the KC Stadium, livened only by Hull’s late acrobatics, the 20-year-old showed just why he is being mooted for big things this term, and fans on Twitter began to take notice.
Many fans appeared impressed with his start and are expecting a strong season:
Demarai Gray looks like an absolute playa!!

Whilst many fans were delighted by the youngster, some questioned his fashion sense:
Demarai Gray's haircut is an absolute shocker

Is it me or does Demarai Gray look like he survived an explosion in a cartoon?
